Break in at doctor's office, customer records removed

Break in at doctor's office, customer records removed

Instead of stealing glasses, Jonesboro police say whoever broke into a local vision care office had their eyes on the customers’ personal records.

Around 11 p.m. Monday police responded to an alarm at Invision Eye Care, 2704 Alexander Dr.

A large rock was used to break out the glass front door, according to Officer Joe Robinson’s initial police report.

After clearing the business, Dr. Stacey Raines said the only things that appeared to be out of place were the personal files of their customers, according to the report.
