Cinco de Mayo movie fundraiser planned | Arts & Culture
Tonight celebrate Cinco de Mayo and help make a movie.
A family karaoke party will be held from 6 until 10 p.m. at Don Jose's, 311-B Main St. in downtown Jonesboro.
Proceeds from the event will be used to help finance How to Carry A. Nation, a Jonesboro made independent film.
The film's creators are Edward and Karen Underwood of Jonesboro. They expect to begin shooting this summer.
