Arts Council bringing Best of Broadway, Andrew Lloyd Webber to The Ritz | Arts & Culture

The Best of Broadway Featuring the Songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber will open the 2012-2013 Series for The Arts Council of Mississippi County at 7 p.m. Saturday, August 18, at The Ritz in Blytheville.

The show begins with an exciting rendition of Sunset Boulevard and takes the audience on an unforgettable musical journey through Webber’s greatest hits, including songs from Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cats and Phantom of the Opera.

What makes this show so special, according to a news release from The Arts Council of Mississippi County, is that the performers actually starred in Webber’s shows on Broadway.

Tickets to the two-hour program are $20 in advance and $25 the night of the show.  Tickets can be purchased at The Ritz, 306 W. Main St. in Blytheville.
