Local store, restaurant relocating | Business
A couple of Jonesboro businesses will soon pack up and move…to new locations.
Haag Brown Commercial announced Tuesday The Refinery Christian apparel store and Wings to Go plan to relocate to the Fairgrounds Re-Development on Stadium Boulevard.
The Refinery, which is currently located in the Mall at Turtle Creek, will join Starbucks Coffee Company and Men’s Wearhouse clothing store in the new three-tenant Parkwood Center which is currently under construction. The building will face Stadium Boulevard.
Jay Gunter, Refinery owner and operator, is quoted as saying:
"We’ve managed to outgrow the limited mall space we’ve enjoyed the last 5 years as our footwear category alone exceeded 13,000 pairs of shoes sold last year. With the new space, we will be able to grow in other areas (i.e., denim and apparel lines). We are also looking forward to occasionally providing a venue for small acoustical shows that feature local talent."
Wings to Go will move from its location at 1712 Caraway Rd. to another new three-tenant project that includes Qdoba Mexican Restaurant and The Everyday Chef.
The building will soon be constructed behind the Parkwood Center facing Sissy’s Log Cabin, according to an email from Haag Brown.
Robin Nix, the restaurant’s co-owner and principal, stated:
"We are excited about moving into a brand new building, with expanded dining and kitchen facilities, allowing us to betterserve our customers in a new and updated atmosphere."
