Grilling for a cause | Community Spirit

Leadership Jonesboro-Team A is grilling for a cause.

They're joining forces with the Life Skills Center for the "Grills and Life Skills" fundraiser on Saturday, April 14, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Elk's Lodge, 2113 West Washington Ave.  Tickets are $25.

Gene Vance will be tending the grill while the band "Irish Redd" keeps the crowd entertained.

In addition to grilling and chilling, there will be a silent auction.  Among the items up for bid are a custom-built smoker, a handmade RNT duck call, jewelry, art and a St. Louis Cardinals package including roundtrip airfare for 4, tickets to the game and a night's stay at the Hyatt.  They will also raffle off a freezer full of food.
