Region 8 Road Trip makes a stop in Hardy | Community Spirit

The Region 8 News team traveled to Hardy today to broadcast live from the Spring River.

Among those who came out to see Diana, Craig and Ryan was Julia Shattuck of Worth, one of Region 8's first Weather Watchers.

We interviewed Julia back in the 90s about homeschooling.  Diana says right before they arrived that day, Julia had gone into labor.  But, because she knew the news crew had traveled quite a distance to meet her, she didn't tell them and did the interview with a smile on her face.  Immediately afterwards she went to the hospital and delivered a healthy baby boy.  Now that's true dedication to her favorite news channel!

Next week the crew packs up and heads to Jacksonport.  Hope to see you there!
