Whoever broke into a vision care clinic earlier this week was apparently looking for just one thing.

Around 11 p.m. Monday night Jonesboro police were called to Invision Eye Care, 2704 Alexander Dr.

According to Officer Joe Robinson’s initial police report, a large rock was used to break out the glass front door to gain entry.

“Several file folders had obviously been removed from the files by the suspects,” Robinson reported.

Dr. Stacey Raines tells Region 8 News only one customer file was removed. 

She said the patient has been notified.

An Oklahoma man arrested last week after police say he rubbed his buttocks on an officer’s car must have liked the treatment he received at the Craighead County Detention Center.

Less than 72 hours after he was released from jail, Blaine M. Butcher,33, of Tulsa was back behind bars Monday morning.

At 2 a.m. Monday, May 13, Officer Timothy Burns was called to the Electric Cowboy, located at 2801 Fairpark Blvd., regarding a suspect who was “driving hazardously through the parking lot.”

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Craighead County dispatch says authorities throughout Region 8 are on the lookout for a man traveling on a stolen vehicle.

They say the man is believed to be traveling in silver Ford Mustang with a black top.

They say he is from Lawrence County and might be headed to Illinois.

At the moment, authorities could not confirm if the man is considered dangerous.
