Suspect "4 tacos shy" of a full order arrested on drug charges | Crime
A woman accused of throwing food in the parking lot of a Jonesboro restaurant found herself thrown in jail on drug charges.
Brandy Vangundy, 28, of Jonesboro was arrested on felony possession of a controlled substance and a probation violation.
Just after midnight Sunday morning Jonesboro police were called to Taco Bell, 2100 S. Caraway, regarding a couple that was throwing trash in the parking lot.
When officers arrived they reported finding Vangundy in a parked car. She was upset and crying .
When asked what was wrong, Vangundy told police she was “four tacos shy” of having what she ordered.
Vangundy said she was upset that the restaurant would not give her the tacos.
After learning that Vangundy was on probation for possession, police searched her purse and found a box containing suspected methamphetamine, according to the initial police report.
Vangundy was arrested and taken to the Craighead County Detention Center where she is being held on a probation violation awaiting a probable cause hearing for possession of a controlled substance.
