Update: Bond set for man accused of sexual indecency with a child | Crime
A Craighead County judge found probable cause Monday afternoon to charge a North Little Rock man with felony sexual indecency with a child after police say he was found on a hotel bed with an 11-year-old girl apparently performing a sex act.
Workers at the Baymont Inn, 2910 Kazi Drive, told police they walked in on Ketrick Womack and the girl Sunday afternoon.
According to court records, the employees claimed Womack’s pants were down and the child was “in the oral sex position.”
The victim told police her mother was in the shower when the 20-year-old man pulled down his pants and “laid on the bed beside her with his private parts exposed,” according to the probable cause affidavit.
The girl told police she was “scared and didn’t know what to do.”
That’s when she said the hotel staff walked in on them, according to the report.
The girl claimed she never touched Womack or his private parts, police said.
When officers attempted to question Womack he refused to speak without an attorney present, according to the report.
Womack is being held at the Craighead County Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 bond.
