Crook not playing around, swing stolen from park | Crime
The Jonesboro Rotary Centennial Park at Craighead Forest Park is “designed to enable children of all abilities to learn, explore and play together,” according to the organization’s website.
But that playtime has been disabled after someone stole a swing valued at $1,100.
The theft was discovered Monday morning by Larry Jackson, superintendent of Craighead Forest Park.
Jackson told police it was a large round plastic swing with three large chains and a universal joint.
There are no suspects or leads at this time, according to the police report.
