Man loses his cool and his pants in downtown restaurant | Crime
A man who apparently lost his cool inside a downtown Jonesboro restaurant, also lost his shoes and pants.
According to the initial police report, officers were called to the Brickhouse, 218 S. Main, around 1:30 Sunday morning regarding an assault.
The alleged victim’s wife claimed her husband had been kicked out of the restaurant without his shoes and pants.
She told police she found him wandering around the 300-block of South Church in “nothing but his boxers.”
Upon further investigation officers learned the 31-year-old Jonesboro man had been forcibly removed from the Brickhouse by the bouncer and off-duty police officer working security.
The off-duty officer said he saw the man push several women near the front of the stage area.
The bouncer spoke to the man, then attempted to escort him out of the establishment.
The man apparently did not want to go.
He began to swing his arms and legs at the bouncer, the off-duty officer stated.
The officer then assisted the bouncer in removing the man from the business.
During the struggle, the man’s pants and shoes were also removed.
The officer stated he found the items in the band room and returned them to the man.
No charges were filed.
