Police: Man arrested with hydro, ecstasy and meth | Crime
A Brookland man faces multiple felony charges after police say they found him with pills and meth.
On Tuesday, March 27, Jonesboro police arrested 36-year-old Christopher Patrick Burr after he was stopped on Caraway Road near The Links apartments.
According to the police report, a search of Burr's car turned up a small case containing plastic baggies, syringes, an ecstasy pill and suspected methamphetamine. Officers say they also found two hydrocodone pills in Burr's pants pocket.
Burr is charged with:
- Possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with the purpose to deliver-felony
- Possession of drug paraphernalia-felony
- Possession of a controlled substance-felony
- Possession of a controlled substance-misdemeanor
The suspected drugs were turned over to the 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force, which assisted in the arrest.
