Vandals strike Valley View Schools | Crime

On Sunday, just after 6 p.m., Jonesboro police were called to Valley View Schools.

According to the police report, someone apparently tried to drive a Bobcat loader through the football field fence gates.

Superintendent Radius Baker also told the investigating officer that someone had also broken the back window of a Chevy Venture van belonging to the school.

Total damage to the car and gate is estimated at $2,400. 

There are no suspects at this time and extra patrols have been requested.
