JPD: Man arrested after police find pot in his pants | Crime
A Jonesboro man faces drug possession charges after police say they found marijuana in his pants.
Jordan Jerome McAdoo, 22, was stopped just after midnight Tuesday after a Jonesboro police officer reported seeing him parked near a "known drug location."
The officer stopped McAdoo for a traffic violation.
During the stop, the officer reported McAdoo was "sweating profusely and breathing very heavily."
A check of McAdoo's identity revealed he "had a suspended driver's license and that he was also a parolee."
McAdoo was arrested and searched. While searching him, the officer reportedly noticed that he had "multiple layers of clothing underneath his black jeans." He also reported smelling marijuana on McAdoo; but, he was "unable to locate anything illegal…due to the multiple layers of clothes."
McAdoo was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center. During a strip search investigators reportedly found a bag containing 32 individually wrapped baggies of marijuana "tied to the inside of McAdoo's shorts by the draw string."
McAdoo was charged with possession of a controlled substance, parole violator, DWI and broken tail lamps and reflectors.
