Vandals go "mudding" at country club | Crime

Most golfers use a cart to get from hole to hole.

Saturday night at Sage Meadows Country Club, 4406 Clubhouse Dr. in Jonesboro, someone apparently used a truck.

According to Jonesboro police, a truck with “large mudding tires” drove down much of the fairway and over two golf greens, valued at $10,000.

Clubhouse Manager Tom Guipe, who notified police early Sunday morning about the damage, said he did not know who could have done it.
