Fleeing suspect can't outrun Tazer | Crime
A man suspected of drug possession apparently tried to run away from a Jonesboro police officer; but, he couldn’t outrun the officer’s Tazer gun.
Harold H. See, 27, of Jonesboro was arrested Tuesday morning on charges of fleeing, resisting arrest and felony possession of a controlled substance.
According to the incident report, See was walking west on Washington Avenue toward Culberhouse when the officer stopped him. While trying to handcuff him, the officer said See took off running.
The officer said he pulled his Tazer and “advised the subject to stop.” When See didn’t, the officer fired the weapon “making definite contact to the subject’s right-hand chest area below the breast. The subject then fell to the ground.”
After handcuffing See, the officer performed a search and reportedly found 3.9 grams of methamphetamine in a metal container in his right front pocket.
