Just after 7 p.m. Monday, July 2, officers were called to Bill’s Fresh Market, 725 E. Johnson Avenue, in reference to a robbery.
The 59-year-old victim told police he had just left the store with $558 cash when a young, African-American male pulled a gun on him and demanded the money.
