JPD: Woman stole brother's guitar, pawned it | Crime
A woman’s actions apparently struck a sour note with her brother.
Jonesboro police say Bobbie Elizabeth Sietz, 24, stole her younger brother’s guitar and then pawned it.
On Wednesday, July 25, Daniel Lashlee reported Sietz stole his $300 Alvarez guitar.
When Officer Scott Rose contacted Sietz, he says she began crying and admitted to pawning the instrument at a shop on East Nettleton.
Officer Rose then called the shop and a worker reportedly confirmed Sietz had pawned the guitar.
According to the police report, Lashlee was advised to “go pay the pawned amount” to pick up the guitar.
This is the third time in a month Sietz has been in trouble with the law.
On June 24 police arrested her after they say she attempted to purchase pseudoephedrine at three different pharmacies. The medication is a key ingredient in the making of meth. She was charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as possession with the intent to manufacture.
On July 2 she was arrested and charged with drug possession after police say they found a bag of marijuana hidden in her genitals following a traffic stop.
