Jonesboro police say a broken taillight landed a parole violator back behind bars.
Steve Hervey, 32, of Jonesboro was arrested Wednesday afternoon following a traffic stop for a broken brake light.
According to Officer Blake Bristow’s initial report, when he checked Hervey’s name through the Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC) he learned Hervey was wanted in Camden for violating parole, which is a felony.
Hervey, who was described as a driver for Papa John’s, was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center where he is awaiting extradition.
