Lights stolen from airport runway | Crime

Jonesboro police and airport officials are in the dark about who would steal lights from the runway.

Phillip Steed, manager of the Jonesboro Municipal Airport, told police sometime over the weekend someone stole 8 LED lights from the east/west taxiway.

According to the police incident report, the lights had been broken from their bases and removed.  Steed put the value of the lights at $2,000. 

Currently police have no suspects.
