Guns, ammo stolen from home | Crime
While a Jonesboro man was busy at work, thieves were busy stealing guns and ammunition from his home.
The burglary reportedly happened at a home in the 900-block of Oakdale sometime between 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, when the homeowner left for work, and 12:45 a.m. Thursday when he came back.
According to the initial police report, three rifles and two shotguns were stolen along with 60 rounds of ammunition, three rifle scopes and two gun cases. The items were valued at nearly $2,000.
The owner told police nothing else had been stolen.
