Crooks steal tools, Bible from car | Crime

Apparently someone ignored the 8th commandment:  Thou shalt not steal.

A Jonesboro man told police someone broke into his Jeep parked in the 2000-block of Alex and stole several items, including a tool bag, GPS and his Bible.

The Bible was in a brown leather case, valued at $150.

According to the initial police report, several breaking and entering reports were filed in the Sylvan Hills area north of Alex on Friday and they “may be related.”

Currently police have no suspects or witnesses.
