JPD increases patrols after shots fired on home

Jonesboro police have increased patrols in the 400-block of McDaniel after a woman said someone opened fire on her home.

The victim told officers she was sitting in her bedroom Tuesday night when she heard glass breaking in her living room.  When she went to investigate she found two bullet holes in the living room window.

According to the initial police report, one of the bullets traveled through a bedroom wall.

The woman told investigators “she did not know who would have done this and that she did not have any enemies.”
