Knife wielding suspect robs convenience store | Crime
Jonesboro police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store at knifepoint.
Just before 10 o’clock Tuesday night officers were called to Quick Trip, 613 W. Nettleton.
The clerk told investigators a man holding a knife entered the store and said, “Give me all the money.”
The woman said she opened the cash register and handed over all of the money in the drawer. The man then told her, “Give me the money under the counter.” The clerk removed the register drawer and took out the money hidden beneath it and handed it to the man.
After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the man then ran out of the store.
According to police the suspect was a white man, five-feet-seven, wearing a purple shirt around his face. Surveillance video indicated he may have been driving a light blue pickup truck.
