Grinch cuts cord on woman's Christmas display | Crime
A Jonesboro woman’s holiday spirit is a little dimmer after a grinch cut the cord on her Christmas display.
The woman, who lives in the 2100-block of Bridger Road, told police she discovered the vandalism when she returned home from work Wednesday evening.
She said the lights had been working fine Tuesday night; but, when she attempted to turn them on Wednesday evening, she noticed several strands were not working. The woman said that’s when she discovered three of the electrical cords had been severed.
According to the police report the lights “appeared to have been cut by an unknown sharp object.”
The woman told police she did not know of anyone who would want to destroy her property.
