Three arrested for series of recent robberies | Crime
Jonesboro police say the arrest of a Paragould man clears at least four armed robberies in Craighead and Greene Counties.
On Tuesday night a man armed with a knife robbed the Quick Trip store, located at 613 W. Nettleton.
After comparing notes with Brookland police and the Greene County sheriff’s deputies, who also investigated similar robberies, Jonesboro police were able to develop information on a possible suspect.
On Wednesday Jonesboro Detectives Mike Branscum and Jason Simpkins arrested 18-year-old Tyler R. Chronister of Paragould at his workplace in Jonesboro.
At the same time Chronister was being taken into custody, Greene County deputies were arresting two juveniles. All three are currently in police custody.
