JPD stick parolee in jail after he gets truck stuck in yard | Crime
A Weiner man on parole wound up in a pickle and in jail after Jonesboro police say he got his truck stuck in a yard.
Just after midnight Friday an officer was called to the 3200-block of Rosalee Road regarding a possible residential burglary in progress.
When Officer Jamie Seaborn arrived at the scene he spotted a man with a flashlight go behind a house. According to his initial report, Seaborn said he followed the man into a nearby woods and heard him drop something metallic onto the ground.
Seaborn caught up with the man behind another house and asked what was going on.
The man, identified as 28-year-old Jordan Pickle, told Seaborn his truck was stuck in a yard and he was “putting his tools in the woods so they would not get stolen.”
Pickle then took Officer Seaborn to the 4600-block of Annadale Circle where his 1993 Chevy Silverado pickup was buried “down to the frame” in newly laid sod.
Seaborn arrested Pickle, who was on parole, on a charge of criminal mischief-second degree and took him to the Craighead County Detention Center. A parole hold was placed on Pickle. He was also given a court date of January 23 with a $355 surety bond.
