Missing a bag of marijuana? | Crime
You might want to call the Jonesboro Police Department.
According to the police report, Thursday afternoon a plastic baggie containing about 2.6 grams of pot was found on the lobby floor of Gateway Tire, 2528 S. Caraway.
A salesman told Officer Michael McCanless two “suspicious looking guys” had been in the store earlier and he believed one of them might have dropped the pot.
The marijuana was placed into evidence until further notice.
In an unrelated case, vandals did $800 worth of damage to two portable toilets at a construction site in the 300-block of Dunwoody.
An employee of Hedges Portable Toilets said when he went to clean the toilets Thursday morning he discovered the damage.
According to Officer Susan Gray’s report, the “seat was busted on both toilets” and it appeared that the damage was “caused intentionally and is not from general use.”
