Man charged after urinating on downtown restaurant window | Crime
A Jonesboro man was arrested Saturday night after police say he urinated on the front window of a downtown restaurant.
Sean M. Jones, 24, was arrested and charged with public intoxication after police say he urinated on a window at Omar’s Uptown restaurant, 301 S. Main.
According to the initial police report, around 11 p.m. an off-duty Arkansas State Police officer witnessed the act and flagged down Officer Blake Easley.
Easley said he then saw Jones “stumbling away…with his pants down around his knees.”
After being told to stop Jones pulled up his pants and continued to walk away, according to Easley’s report.
Easley caught up with Jones and asked him what he was doing. Jones reportedly said he was drunk and “just needed to pee.”
According to the police report, after measuring .20 on a Portable Breath Test (PBT), Jones was arrested and taken to the Craighead County Detention Center where he was cited for public intoxication.
In addition to a $205 surety bond, a 6-hour hold was placed on Jones to allow him time to sober up.
