Time to think pink and help fight breast cancer | Events
It’s time to think pink. As in Pink Warrior pink.
Women interested in registering for the Susan G. Komen Arkansas Affiliate Race for the Cure have until Friday, Sept. 20, to register.
The race, which attracts more than 40,000 women annually, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, in downtown Little Rock.
For a registration fee of $26, Pink Warriors will get a long-sleeved Susan G. Komen for the Cure state shirt and a short-sleeved Pink Warrior shirt, along with a race packet. The shirts and packet will be available for pick up at the St. Bernards Imaging Center from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. October 15 and 16.
Those who are unable to attend the race in person can still support breast cancer awareness as virtual runners. Spirit runners will also receive both shirts.
To register online, visit www.komenarkansas.org/komen-race-for-the-cure/. First-time Pink Warriors will be asked to create an account. The team password is “pink.”
For more information, call the St. Bernards Imaging Center at (870) 207-8000.
