Rockin' Christmas parade tonight in Jonesboro

 

Downtown Jonesboro will be rockin’ tonight!

The 65th Annual Jonesboro Christmas Parade, featuring more than 90 entries, will make its way down Main Street beginning at 7 p.m.

The theme of this year’s parade is “It’s a Rockin’ Christmas.”

Big Daddy Weave tickets on sale today

Tickets go on sale today for the Big Daddy Weave “Redeemed Tour.”

The concert will be held Friday, February 8, at 7 p.m. in the B.C. Lloyd Building on the Greene County Fairgrounds.

Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at PostNet, 2503 West Kingshighway in Paragould.  Tickets are limited.

Grace Baptist to celebrate the "Glory of Christmas"

 

“The Glory of Christmas” comes to life at Grace Baptist Church this month.

The church choir and members will present two performances of the dramatic musical on Saturday and Sunday, December 15 and 16, at 6 p.m.

The public is invited to come and experience the true reason for the season.

Grace Baptist Church is located at 3930 Aggie Road in Jonesboro.

Jonesboro Jaycees collecting toys for kids

 

The Jonesboro Jaycees want to make sure every child has a happy holiday.

The organization is accepting applications for its Goodfellows and Christmas for Kids projects.  Already they have received a record number of applications.

Now they need to fill those orders.

The Jaycees will host a toy drive on Saturday, December 8, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Parker Road Walmart.  The toys need to be new, unopened and unwrapped.

Food drive to benefit Shepherd's Fold

 

The pantry shelves at Shepherd’s Fold are getting bare.  You can help refill them this week.

The ministry will hold a food drive starting at 8 a.m. this Friday, December 7, at Bill’s Fresh Market at Hilltop in Jonesboro.

All non-perishable food items will be accepted.

The store is located at 3605 East Johnson Avenue.
