According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, obese children are more likely to have risk factors for high cholesterol and blood pressure.

They are also more likely to become obese as adults which puts them at even greater risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoarthritis, stroke and several types of cancer.

To combat this epidemic the NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation is offering two free 3-week summer sessions to help kids and their families live a fit life.
