Free class to teach anti-bully techniques | Families

Nobody likes a bully.  Especially those who are being bullied.

For many children and adolescents, bullying is a common experience.  It can range from name-calling and threats to hitting and kicking. 

Joey Perry Martial Arts wants to kick bullying to the curb.

On Friday, October 12, they will offer a free “No Bullying” class from 6 until 8 p.m.

Kids, ages 5 and up, will learn:

• How not to be a bully
• How to stop bullying—emotionally and physically
• How to speak to adults and teachers about being bullied
• How to help others that are being bullied.
