Marty Algee named wound center director | Health

Longtime Northeast Arkansas resident Marty Algee has been named wound management director at Paragould Wound Healing Center.

Algee graduated from Arkansas State University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science.  He has an extensive background in medical marketing and management.  He worked for more than a decade for pharmaceuticals giant Novartis.

Algee, who lives in Jonesboro with his wife Kelly and their children, Jake and Kate, will oversee the center's operations.

The center, which opened earlier this month, provides specialized wound care for patients with chronic and traumatic wounds.

The center is located at One Medical Drive, Suite 201.  It is a department of St. Bernards Medical Center in collaboration with Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
