Arkansas State adopts new logo | News
As part of a new marketing plan, Arkansas State University in Jonesboro has unveiled a new logo.
Gone is the university flame that shone for many years.
In its place is a bold STATE with a capital A.
It’s a move the college hopes to capitalize on.
Jeff Hankins, vice president for strategic communications and economic development for the ASU system, said the college has “encountered ongoing market confusion” with its ASU moniker.
“As a growing national brand, it’s important for us to brand ourselves differently and consistently,” Hankins said in an email to Region 8 News.
