Senator Boozman opens doors to public | News

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Senator John Boozman held a grand opening on South Church Street Friday to open his office to the public.

Senator Boozman says this was an opportunity to not only speak one on one with people and listen to their concerns, but to also let people know his office is accessible. "What we're trying to do is get ourselves situated in the state where people don't have to travel a great distance to access our services. Really trying to be a part of the community and a part of the region to use the power of the office for good."

Senator Boozman says he was pleased with the turnout. "Things are going great. We've had such a nice welcome and had a number of people from not only Jonesboro, but all across the area come to express their support."

Senator Boozman says if any residents are having trouble with such things as social security problems, veteran's problems, Medicare, anything at all to contact his office and they will do their best to help.
