To-do project spreads into property fire
News

JONEDBORO, AR (KAIT) – Dry ground helped fire spread from a
to-do project to a shed Thursday afternoon.

According to Battalion Chief Brett Winsted, homeowners on
301 Magnolia St. were trying to burn off a tree stump when the fire spread
across dry ground on their shed.

Fortunately, fire crews were able to prevent the fire from
spreading to the home and surrounding areas.

No one was harmed in the fire, and the shed is heavily
damaged.

Winsted warned residents to be careful since fires can
spread so easily in weather conditions like these.
