JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro woman is dead after her truck collided with a train on Dan Avenue in Jonesboro.

The wreck happened around 11 a.m. Saturday. A media release from the Jonesboro Police Department states the BSNF train was traveling East bound on the railroad approaching Henson Road.

The report states that 54-year-old Roberta L. Bratcher was attempting to cross railroad tracks before the train reached the intersection.

The train hit Bratcher's vehicle on the driver's side. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner.

According to the report, at the time of the accident the train was sounding it's horn and the crossing signal was flashing with the bell active.
