A mother's graduation wish for her son | News

Congratulations to Jackson Mobley Gibbs.

He's graduating Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

He is the son of Brenda Mobley Gibbs, who's originally from Jonesboro.

She's so proud of her son's accomplishments, she wrote him this poem:

My Son -

 

My son wasn't born into the perfect family.

He was born unto me.

My son didn't have a father in his life.

He had me.

My son didn't grow up with the riches of the world.

He had my love.

My son wasn't like other kids his age.

He had my wisdom.

My son was a spiritual soul.

He had my faith.

My son made some mistakes.

He had my forgiveness.

My son is man.

He has my heart.

 

Congratulations, Jackson on your upcoming graduation from high school.  Bring on the next four years!
