JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Two men are behind bars after running
from police and locking themselves inside an apartment.

According to the Jonesboro Police report, Alan Oliver and
Anthony Gipson were arrested after they ran from police at the Garden Manor
Apartments.

Police say they were acting suspicious, and when police
tried to talk to the men they ran. Oliver and Gipson ran into an apartment and
locked the door behind them. Police kicked in the door and arrested Gipson in
the living room, while Oliver was found in the bed acting like he was asleep.

Police say the two men were sweating and breathing heavy.

Both Oliver and Gipson were charged with fleeing, disorderly
conduct, and Oliver was out on parole and will face a parole violation.
