Grass fire keeps Jonesboro firefighters busy

At least three Jonesboro Fire Department engines were called out Wednesday afternoon to battle a large grass fire.

The fire was reported just before 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Southwest Drive and Kellers Chapel Road.

Within 30 minutes crews had the fire under control.  Unlike Tuesday's fire that destroyed a mobile home and storage shed, no structures were damaged in this fire.

As of 4:05 p.m. crews were busy dousing hot spots.
