JPD: "Scared" woman crashes through school fence | News
Title (Max 100 Characters)
A Jonesboro woman learned a valuable lesson Monday: If you crash through a school fence, don’t drive away. Even if you are “scared.”
Constance Hudson, 22, was arrested after police say she drove her 2002 Nissan Maxima through a metal fence at the MicroSociety School, 1110 W. Washington Ave. A school official estimated the damage to the fence at $1,200.
Hudson told police “she was backing out of a driveway to turn around…when she hit the accelerator pedal instead of the brake.”
She told officers “she fled the scene because she was scared.”
Hudson was cited for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage only and hazardous driving.
