JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Former KAIT Anchor Jack Hill died Thursday. Hill was 72.  He was the main anchor at KAIT during much of the 1980's.  During his tenure, he won numerous awards and was known for his investigative style of reporting.

He won the Columbia - DuPont Award for The Economics of Water in 1981, the Pulitzer Prize of Broadcasting, and was nominated for several Emmy Awards.  Hill left KAIT to pursue long form news specials that aired across Arkansas on several commercial broadcast stations and later the Arkansas Educational Television Network.  His company produced nearly 60 documentaries.

Services for Jack Hill will be Friday, July 20th at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church located at 4823 Woodlawn Drive in Little Rock.
