The Army Corps of Engineers is taking applications through August 15 for the 2012-2013 special deer and duck hunts for mobility impaired hunters.

Eligible applicants must have a permanent condition to one or both of their lower extremities that impairs their mobility and requires the use of a wheelchair, braces, crutches or other device.

Hunters will be selected during a random drawing in September.
