RANDOLPH COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Two people died in a vehicle accident in Randolph County Sunday.

According to the Arkansas State Police, Joshua Lynn Hall, 29, of Walnut Ridge, and Kayla Eileen Stone, 22, of Kentland, Indiana, died shortly after a car crash at the intersection of Highway 67 and Highway 90 near Pocahontas.

ASP said the vehicle Hall, Stone, and the driver, 22-year-old Anthony D. Nicholas, of Hoxie, were in ran off the roadway and hit a tree.

Coroner Doug Thielemier pronounced Hall dead at the scene of the accident, and Stone died a short time later at The Med in Memphis. Nicholas was injured in the accident, but his condition is unknown.

No one in the vehicle was wearing his or her seatbelts.
