UPDATE: Help find Sugar

UPDATE: Help find Sugar

Have you seen Sugar?

Last month Five Rivers Animal Aid reported her missing from Rains Street in Jonesboro, not long after she had been adopted.

Since then we've learned that Sugar was seen Sunday, April 7, around 4 p.m. on the south side of Save-A-Lot, across from the Jonesboro Police Department.

Sugar is very timid and does not need to be chased.

Instead, we’re told she does much better coming to people who have a dog with them.

If you see Sugar, please call (870) 275-3655.

Man accused of locking puppy in toolbox

A Harrisburg man was charged with animal cruelty Wednesday after Jonesboro police say he left a puppy in the toolbox of his pickup truck while he shopped.

Around 5 p.m. Officer Michael McCanless was called to the Walmart parking lot, 1815 E. Highland.

When he arrived, he heard a puppy yelping from inside a toolbox at the back of a 2009 Ford F-150 XLT pickup truck.

Witnesses told the officer the puppy had been inside the box for at least 20 minutes.
