I have never known a stronger woman, other than my mother. I'm truly grateful that I have her in my life, now that I have a daughter, I can only hope that she will look up to me as much as I look up to my mother.

Let me introduce you to my mom, the best mother in the world! Her name is Joyce Bettis. She has been through so much in her life but still she puts everyone else first. She has struggled with her own health as long as I can remember but she takes care of her mother and has cared for her father in his last days and a sister as she battled cancer. She knows what its like to endure the pain from losing a Husband, a baby, a father and still have so much love to give to everyone! This is why my momma is the best!

My Mother Ruby Clark is the best momma because she taught me to alwyas be myself and to love unconditionally. Thank you momma for shaping me into the person I am today, Thank you for teaching me to always be myself no matter who is around or watching and thank you for teaching me how to love unconditionally. Children: Shannon Pope, Wayne Yarbrough & Bogie Our mother is the greatest! She loves her family & friends whole-heartily & unconditionally. It has been a tough year for our mom with the recent passing of her sister and then one of her dear friends just last week. We just want her to know that she is loved dearly & we thank God she is ours! Happy Mother's Day!

This was her 79th birthday in March 2011 before passing away in November from cancer. She raised 8 children: Gail, Donald, Carolyn, Anna, Carl, Roger, Brenda and Harold. Remember getting together on holiday, she always made getting together with the family special, always put everyone before her. Always a smile upon her face. Growing up we didn't have a lot, but we always had lots of love. Mother made sure of that. miss her and love her forever

My mother spent all her life taking care of her family of 3 kids, husband, her church family and her own aging parents. Now the role has been reversed as her children now care for her as she is in Moderate stages of Alzheimer's. This cruel disease has left only a shell of the special caring woman who raised me. On this Mother's Day, I am happy that you don't even realize what your life has become. I am sorry that you don't remember much and do not have the ability to care for yourself. I will follow your lead and allow you to live in my home as long as I can take care of you. I love you, Mom!
